Here are some of the stuff that will be implemented in Snok soon (last update 04. June 2000):

• Of course: more levels. If anyone feels like designing levels for Snok, I will upload a tutorial soon. Everything in the levels are designed in Lightwave.
• Of course: more heads, tails and music. All heads and tails are also modelled in Lightwave, so as soon as I upload that tutorial, anyone can design their own heads... :-)
• [DONE] A small crosshair in the middle of the screen, showing where you're going.
• [DONE] Mousesupport will probably be implemented
• Pickup-bonuses. That means you may pick up a bonus with a special effect. Then you may choose if you want to use it on your own Snok or your nearest opponent (two different buttons). Such pickups could e.g. be "more speed", "less speed", "reverse controls" etc. If anyone have suggestions for more pickups we want to hear about it! There's only ONE principle in Snok: A snok should NEVER die in other ways than crashing into walls or other Snoks. That means pickups like "blast him to hell", "blow up his head" etc. is out of the question.
• Some optimization implementations will be done.
• Features on the setup-menus for singleplayer/multiplayer games will of course be implemented (things like "initial snoksize", "maximum snoksize" etc).
• The victoryconditions will of course be implemented soon.
• Would some kind of "Capture the flag" option be cool? May turn out very strange, I think...
• [DONE] There's a bug with the sound initialization. The game doesn't work if the computer has now soundcard. :)
• The bonusobjects appear inside the Snok. We know about this, but didn't have the time to fix it in the betarelease.
• [DONE]Somewhere, there's a bug with the collision detection. The Snok sometimes runs right through the walls.
• [DONE] The first ring of polygons on the Snok is not correctly lightened.
• [DONE] The backface culling isn't entirely correct on the Snok.
• The game doesn't work on windows 95, because Winsock v2.0 is required.
• [DONE] The keyboard acceleration will be adjustable.
• [DONE! I think...] There's a bug making the application hang when shutting down on some gfxcards.
• The game doesn't work if you don't have a network card. :)
• The game doesn't work if you select another colour than blue. :) I forgot to include some files...
