In time, this is gonna be a real nice homepage, but until I get the time for that, this is what you get ;)

• I used to be a member of drift@colargol which is responsible for the machine this WWW server runs on.
• Starting 26/8 1996, I was a Funcom Oslo AS employee. My working title was "Network Manager", but my work was somewhat various :)
• And 1/11 1999, I started working for Trustix AS. There, I've been in charge of building Trustix Secure Linux.
• Sep 29 2003: Trustix AS goes bankrupt. Two of us decide that the distribution deserves to live, so we continue development of it as Tawie Server Linux.
• Oct 22 2003: Comodo takes over Trustix and we get employed there. We continue developing Trustix Secure Linux.
• Nov 1 2005: On the day six years after I started doing Trustix, I start working for Interagon. Going back to being a sysadmin.
• Dec 5 2006: Employed by ElanIT as a consultant. Working for NTNU/ITEA as a Unix sysadmin.
• Jun 2 2007: Working for NTNU/ITEA as a Unix sysadmin.

Where do you want to go tomorrow?

Unix is by far my preferred operating systems family. I prefer Ubuntu as it combines the features I like about Debian with a stable release schedule.

Other info on me

• I am a more or less happy IRC'er.
• On IRC, I prefer the nick Golle.
• My preferred IRC server is irc.hitos.no as I am an IRC operator on that server. For more help, see the pages at IRChelp.org.
• I used to be doing user support.

Too much of WWW is running around. The links referred to in this page, are places where I find it nice to stay a while.
